The Positron Group of Companies was established in Kalgoorlie in Western Australia in 1987 and its workforce has grown to over 450, with approximately 10% of its personnel undertaking Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

The Group provides professional electrical, mechanical and hydraulic construction and maintenance services to the mining, resource and infrastructure sectors.

The Positron Group of Companies is a privately and wholly Australian owned Organisation with an annual turnover in excess of AU$70m.

The Group consists of three (3) divisions which incorporate:

• Positron Trident
• Positron Power
• Tripower - Mackay Fluid Power

The Group has offices throughtout Australia in Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Each office and business division is led by an experienced Group General Manager.

The Positron Group continues to grow and diversify and to maintain long-term and strengthening relationships with major clients who include Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Xtrata, Freeport Indonesia, Newcrest Mining, Leviathan Resources, Porgera JV (PNG) Transgrid and Delta Electricity.

In 2007 the Positron Group celebrates the provision of services to industry for 20 years.
